What is Legal Transcription

Legal transcription is the process of converting audio recorded dictations into text.

Transcription process involves recording dictations and then typing out these recorded dictations using word processors such as MS Word or WordPerfect.

A transcription is said to be legal transcription if the subject matter is of legal nature.  Legal transcriptions are required by law firms and solicitors on a daily basis.
